Here are just some of the places that have given coffee lovers in Singapore an option (other than Starbucks) to fulfill their caffeine fix
Nestled in a quaint corner in old Tiong Bahru, this Aussie cafe was one of the first coffee joints to open its doors in the neighbourhood in October 2010, way before the charming estate became synonymous for gourmet coffee (read orange thimble & drips bakery). Recently expanding across the road from Yong Siak St where its situated, 40 Hands also serves its coffee in Open Door Policy. Aussie chief barista and 40 Hands director Harry Grover who hails from Perth, Australia, decided to try his luck at coffee making after making a name for himself with his family property business back home.
